Interior Inspiration: {le royal monceau - philippe stark}

Philippe Stark yet again excels in completely renovating the new Le Royal Monceau in Paris. Implementing the magnificently Philippe Stark designed Baccarat Lustres into the overall design, is alluringly seductive.

The design is so spectacular it is almost like a story is being told in every room, a history, a moment. Elegantly sublime the restaurants provide a contemporary yet glamorous setting filled with bold colours, beautiful leathers and metals alongside the ever enchanting crystal chandeliers. I am especially fascinated by the inspiration sourced for the suites, AndrĂ© Malraux. The French adventurer and author AndrĂ© Malraux who was fond of holding onto things that inspired him such as letters and objects was a main inspiration for the suites where you can find love letters, fabrics and details to create an exciting history within the room.

'In a world in which everything is subject to the passing of time, art alone is both subject to time and yet victorious over it'. Malraux

End of Summer...

I am finally back after what seemed like an eternity. I was on vacation for a whole month, it was a relaxing break, however, I did miss London. Here are a few photos of the lovely views I was able to experience whilst on this fabulous vacation.
