Cesare Paciotti Italian Home

The very simple yet stylish Italian home of shoe designer Cesare Paciotti is quite refreshing. The beautiful wooden flooring contributes to an almost rural but still contemporary holiday home. It does still hold a hint of glamour due to the quality and beauty of the home furnishings and decor. Simple, spacious and satisfying!

Zuhair Murad: {la vie en rose}

La Vie en Rose collection 2010 / 2011 for Zuhair Murad is one of the most elegant I have seen. Zuhair Murad's designs are some of the most glamorous around. The couture range is spectacular and the quality can be seen from afar.

Kitchen Inspiration: {kitchen in the round}

The Kitchen in the Round is a kitchen layout most suited for garden-type and country kitchens. Although best suited for country styled kitchens it is quite stylish and unique. Having a 'Kitchen in the Round', kitchen layout provides a wonderful focal point in any home.

Dolce & Gabbana: {s/s 2012}

Dolce & Gabbana have produced a glamorous collection of handmade dresses {made to order} for spring / summer 2012. The embroidery and crystals are magnificent. I especially love the jewels and sequins and although highly colourful and bold they do carry a presence of glamour.

Old Hollywood Bedrooms

Hi, I'm Susi, a writer at Design Shuffle a great social media site for designers and design lovers to share projects and ideas. I'm so excited to be guest blogging about old Hollywood today for La Petite Fleur de Londres. Old Hollywood is one of my favorite styles; it's so glamorous and gorgeous. My post is all about old Hollywood bedrooms—nothing could be more glam. Enjoy!

Old Hollywood is synonymous with feminine glamour. Sparkly surfaces, velvets, button-tufting, vintage style wallpaper, mirrors, sumptuous texture and gorgeous lighting all give this bedroom that old Hollywood glam.
Vintage touches from the 40s give this chic bedroom an old Hollywood glamour. A 1940s chandelier and a starburst mirror along with mirrored closets and a fur throw are perfect for a Hollywood starlet.

Designed by the icon David Hicks, this vintage room defines Hollywood Regency. A mix of modern and antique furnishings combine with layers of pattern to create a room that feels stylish even today.

Another work by David Hicks, this bedroom is a lovely example of old Hollywood style. Layers of patterns on the curtains and carpet are so chic. The skirted vanity is so girly and glamorous.

For an old Hollywood look in your bedroom, incorporate decorating ideas seen in this beautiful bedroom. Mirrored furniture, popular in the 30s and 40s, is a great way to bring old Hollywood glamour to a room. Crystal lamps and button tufting on the vanity stool add additional glamour.

Hollywood Regency style has the glamour of old Hollywood mixed with vintage modern. This orange upholstered headboard is Hollywood Regency while the chrome lamp is vintage modern—a great mix that feels like the Rat Pack's Palm Springs.

This glamorous bedroom has gorgeous sparkling details and personal touches of old Hollywood. The vintage style lamps and chandelier mix with tailored touches like the monogrammed pillow.

This black, white and gray bedroom design is like a classic Old Hollywood movie. Gorgeous vintage style and a pop of turquoise make this bedroom so glamorous and so chic.

You can re-create these Old Hollywood inspirations in your own bedrooms! Check out Design Shuffle to find great ideas, our interior design guide, and connect with San Francisco interior designers and more!
