The Perfect Pair of Jeans

A large warm winter coat, leather boots and a great pair of jeans make for the perfect autumn wardrobe, so I was super excited when I was asked by Trilogy to take the ultimate denim experience at one of their London stores. This involved using their team of stylists expertise to find my perfect jeans. I live in jeans, especially black ones so trying on so many different pairs with different textures and fits was positively overwhelming. I remember calling out from the dressing room after each pair I tried on, that the fit was so beautiful, and I felt great. The Black Denim Edit collection sculpts and embraces your figure. The AW16 collection is all about building your perfect wardrobe around a great pair of black jeans which is what I done. I paired it up with a gorgeous camel coat, white lace blouse and black leather boots. What I like about Trilogy’s Black Denim Edit is its versatility and that it gets you from day to evening in the utmost elegance and style.

Smart, sophisticated and flattering, black jeans have long been a classic go-to whatever the season. The collection comprises a mix of three brands, AG Jeans, J Brand and Paige Denim. There are many different styles including the cropped flare, which is available in jet black, cord or velvet, the five pocket leather and the skinny, which creates the perfect silhouette. There is also the released hem and last but not least is the soft and silky velvet. The J Brand velvet jeans are undoubtedly the ones I have, due to their comfort and luxurious softness. Velvet is also huge this season and a major winter accessory full of sex appeal.

I wore this outfit on a Sunday afternoon out with my other half. We took a lovely walk down some of Chelsea’s Mews and popped to the lovely Peggy Porschen cake shop for some delicious cupcakes and a hot chocolate.
