Family events, holidays and days out are exciting, especially when you have three kids. I was invited to experience an indoor safari themed event where we were able to interact with so many different animals (yay!) such as meerkats (they smell like cheese!), a beautiful barn owl, a baby crocodile, a scorpion and so much more. It was so informative and the kids really got to have a feel of how certain animals interact within their natural environments. It was as close to a Safari as we could get from London. Safari family holidays are one of the most exciting holidays a child can have. You have a once in a lifetime opportunity to see animals up and close in their natural habitat. Such as watching a heard of elephants or spotting a cheetah with its cubs. Hearing a pride of lions roaring at night and having the most spectacular views. There were a lot of giggles and claps and I actually learnt a lot too, which was fun. The hall was so decorative and there were colourful balloons everywhere, which i’m sure made every child happy. It felt like a party which was great, especially for a Sunday. The food was great, the kids got a lovely selection of cheeky snacks and we had a gorgeous cheese spread with lots of other delicious food (as you can see below!). The day finished off with a wonderful painting workshop where we painted ceramics with creative wildlife themes. Yes, we did take some zebra balloons home and they were bloody difficult to fit in the car with all the car seats but we managed! If you’re planning a family adventure definitely check them out!
