Living in London, I’m always on the lookout for cute little brunch spots that serve good food but also have an interior to match that quality. When I was out in Miami on a blogger’s trip I was deliciously excited to visit The Local House, on Ocean Drive. The weather was hot and after a long walk I was excited to be brunching alfresco in the Miami heat. Upon arriving, the bohemian vibes and greenery was so welcoming. I ordered a delicious watermelon smoothie and just sat for a while appreciating the interior and scenery. Miami is known for its Lobster Rolls and guess what? Yes! That’s exactly what I chose to devour on the menu, along with the most delicious crab cakes. The menu contains mouthfuls of vibrant, beachside flavours!
The Local House is the kind of restaurant you want to linger in, long after the meal is done. Enjoy eclectic culinary creations in a setting that exudes warmth.
Inside the interior is very warm and homelike. It’s quite spacious and conveys the feeling of being in a summer house.
The Local House is where the Miami sun and ocean breeze meets the scent of freshly squeezed juice and aged rum. Everyone’s a local here.
